Main Purpose of The Role

  • The Sales representative will support the Sales Team with the Preparation of sales collateral material and customer quoting / Estimates / Customer Service.
  • Weekly Sales Reports / Calls, Meeting preparations,
  • Monitor responses on all sales leads and send reminders when necessary & maintain a Sales Lead Register weekly

Minimum Requirements

  • Fluent in Portuguese & English languages (Spoken & Written)
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in similar capacity.
  • Knowledge in Freight forwarding industry (Transportation/brokerage/sales experience)
  • Possess a strong track record for delivering successful sales experience in personal selling, telephone sales, and customer service

  • Communication skills: Analytical and a problem solver with adequate skillset to handle stressful situations while putting the needs of the customer first.

  • Negotiation skills: responsible for giving quotes to clients, as well as negotiating with shippers and carriers

  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field

Computer packages

  • Computer Skills (Outlook, Windows, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Access Power point).

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Receive incoming calls and assist customers when necessary.
  • Log and monitor quotes / proposals / Estimates daily and report to manager
  • Responding to quotes/client requests in given time
  • Cold calls (New/old/existing clients)
  • Convert Estimates into shipments – weekly follow up with clients on Estimates provided.
  • Measuring weekly Estimate output
  • Communicate with Sales Manager if specific client and/or operational problems need to be addressed.
  • Review Sales Activities based on weekly Tracker / update Tracker with the Sales Team and present updated/ weekly to the Sales Manager.
  • Fill customers' requests for general company materials (brochures, etc.).
  • Actively generate lead reports for the sales team.
  • Generate and distribute (internal / external) reports as assigned by management.
  • Prepare and coordinate quotes / proposals for Sales Manager.
  • Compile Critical Account information working directly with Sales Manager
  • Assist with required research to maintain current knowledge of all aspects of the dedicated route and ensure the business development team is advised of any relevant industry data and competitor activities.
  • Assist to manage the development of route specific products that respond to the changing marketplace.
  • Consult on any major pricing and operating issues relevant to the product portfolio on the route.
  • Assist in developing any client specific needs or requirements.
  • Prepare customer presentations and proposals / Ensure that expired RPL and Estimates will be updated, and Client will be informed on time.
  • Proactively monitor and assess competitor initiatives.
  • Prepare country specific sales & marketing material / presentations / tariffs and ensure it is available to all users at All times.
  • Support the relevant in RFQs / Tenders.
  • Assist Trade Lane Managers / Business Development Managers to conduct sales campaign / joint sales visit to customer with our overseas partners.
  • EDI Cargowise / Sales Force must be utilized.
