The purpose of this role is to administrate production applications, ensuring security, availability and responsiveness. Support the users and maintain operational safety, productivity, efficiency and quality. Liaison with the production team leaders, specialists and consultants hired to improve continually production processes.
Reporting to the Supervisor Production Information, you will be responsible to:
- Develop and programming of comprehensive end-user applications and support.
- Compliance with service level agreements production application functional analysis, technical specification and documentation.
- Management of development and upgrade projects.
- Change and access control.
- Participation in internal and external production application system audits.
- Coordinate activities involving consultants and contractors.
Ideally you will have a Computer Science degree or equivalent, strong technical background in relational databases (Oracle, MSSQL Server), strong knowledge in developing applications with Oracle APEX, Oracle Development Tools (Oracle Forms & Reports), programming languages (Oracle PL/SQL, C#, SQL), experience in development and maintenance of mobile applications, ability to work with Version Control Systems (PVCS, Git, or any), basic knowledge of Server Administration (Red Hat Enterprise Linux preferably, MS Windows Server), virtualization technology (VMware preferably, Hyper-V, or other), basic knowledge of containerization technology (Docker or other), with 3-4 years of experience in systems analysis, design, development, implementation, integration and support.
