CSG Talent in partnership with our retained client, a growth focused mining company are looking for Electrical Engineering Specialist in Mozambique.
This is FIFO at the mine role for Mozambican national and the ideal candidate will be coming with projects and maintenance experience gained at the mining company or power station or electrical contractor or smelter petrochemical or any other heavy industry company. This is a long term permanent opportunity with a very reputable international organization.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Implementation of the asset management strategy and maintenance of the required maintenance facilities i.e. 110 KV overhead line, main substation, 22 KV reticulations to all plants and facilities and 22 KV plant substations;
- Provide professional suggestions and guidance for operational processes and equipment along with techniques and facility designs;
- Establish design solutions to attain product development needs focusing on cost, performance and schedule;
- Evaluate feasibility and smooth functioning of proposed engineering tests and equipment;
- Interact professionally with cross-functional team members;
- Involve as team member in issue resolution like conflict design needs and inappropriateness of standard material.
- Resolve complex coordination issues as schedule of meeting, pricing and product performance goals;
- Review to ensure accuracy in project-related documents;
- Develop corrective action plan as required for product releases;
- Read design specifications and technical drawings;
- Communicate with clients and contractors and attend meetings on site;
- Design and conduct tests;
- Propose modifications and retest products;
- prepare product documentation, write reports and give presentations;
- Management and development of processes and supervision of personnel in order to maintain the equipment in the Mine and ensure the optimisation of its continued use;
- Developing the capital and operating budget requirements and the provision of these requirements for consolidation into the site budget;
- Implementation of the engineering and maintenance Management Operation Systems, processes and disciplines that will support the engineering and maintenance activities of the main substation and plants substations;
- Auditing of compliance with the deployed systems, practices, processes and methodologies throughout the engineering and maintenance functions to ensure they have been understood and utilised by personnel;
- Implementation of the asset management strategy and maintenance of the required maintenance facilities i.e. 110 KV overhead line, main substation, 22 KV reticulations to all plants and facilities and 22 KV plant substations;
- Provision of technical support to all engineering personnel within the organization and maintain and strength the relationship between company and National Company EDM (Electricidade de Moçambique);
- Manage, Training and develop in the Engineering Electrical nationals;
- Implementation of the Maintenance Planning processes in order to integrate and deliver predictive, preventative maintenance activities within your area of responsibility.
