Job Description
- The Resort Nurse should be registered with the Ministry of Health.
- Respect & follow the technical and operational aspects of the resort clinic
- Examine and provide treatment to guests and team members of the resort as and when required.
- Control the clinic inventory and ordering more medicines whenever needed
- Provision of information and preventive health care and promotion of good health and health education awareness generation.
- Training team members in health issues including First Aid training.
- Inform the People & Culture Manager whenever an employee needs to be referred for further medical treatment in the hospital
- Assist in preparation of medical emergency evacuation plans along with other departments.
- Produce relevant periodic reports as and when required to include: number of sick leave recorded and/or number of team members/guests seen per month/medications used per month
- Report any health and safety hazards.
- Responsible for conducting medical audit
- Available to attend to all emergency calls.
- Plan supplies well in advance and liaise with People & Culture Manager to ensure availability of medical equipment's at all time.
- Attend and act as a First aid Representative in all sport/welfare activities organized by the Resort.
- Counsel and advise staff in all Medical related issues
- Perform relevant duties assigned by management.
- Report any misuse of hotel equipment by team members to People & Culture Department
Qualifications
- Completed 12th grade;
- Bachelors' / Diploma in Nursing
- 2 - 5 years experience in a clinic / hospital
