- The U.S. Embassy Maputo is recruiting one Human Resources Assistant Intern
- All qualified Mozambican students who meet the education requirements below
- Work Hours: Part-time; 20 hours/week
- Salary: Unpaid Internship
- Length Of Hire: February 5, 2024 – August 5, 2024 (6 months)
- The Human Resources Assistant intern will be exposed to all functions performed within STATE HR. The incumbent performs a wide range of clerical/Administrative duties, by supporting and assisting the organization of the workflow of the HR team. The incumbent will be oriented to assist in drafting various documents, contributing to the planning and execution of various HR team projects and activities including recruiting, events organization, and others as required
Duties
- Assist with overall administrative tasks
- Draft various documents such as letters and notices
- Assist with Maputo Mission Awards logistics
- Administrative HR support as required
- Update local employee files
- Submit MyServices requests
Requisites
- Language: English and Portuguese (Write, Speak, Listen) Level 3. (This will be tested)
- Computer: Very good knowledge of Microsoft Suite, Excel, Power Point and analytics software
- Education: College (2 years) in Human Resources, Management, Psychology, or Organizational Development
- Experience: Not required
