MozParks Holding S.A. is recruiting a Marketing and Communications Manager to lead its marketing and communications team during an exciting phase of business growth.
About MozParks
MozParks is an official developer and operator of Sustainable Economic Zones in Mozambique. It focuses on stimulating investment and economic growth alongside youth employment, entrepreneurship programmes and development of the green economy.
MozParks currently manages a network of parks across Mozambique and is in a phase of national and international expansion, working with the African Sustainable Economic Zone Alliance (ASEZA).
Job Description
The Marketing and Communications Manager will be responsible for developing, planning, budgeting and implementing marketing and communication strategies for MozParks, ASEZA and associated projects.
She/He will measure the impact of the marketing and public relations strategies implemented and adapt them to ensure growth and visibility of the business. Her/His duties will include organising, directing and monitoring the marketing and communications staff in order to deliver an efficient and effective working environment aligned with MozParks objectives and values.
The Marketing and Communications Manager will report to senior management and be required to collaborate with other functional areas, such as sales and finance.
Responsibilities
- Liaising and coordinating with business clients and stakeholders to integrate their needs and work into the overall business communication and marketing plans.
- Leading the design, development, and updates of the business’s websites, ensuring they are optimized for user experience and SEO.
- Designing, implementing, and managing all social media content and strategies, exploring digital media partnerships to increase the business’s brand reach and strength.
- Tracking the performance of marketing strategies implemented and making timely modifications to boost performance.
- Leading the design, development, and distribution of company merchandise that aligns with the brand identity.
- Leading the design, development, content production, and distribution of all printed communications materials, including brochures, flyers, and other collateral.
- Contributing to and leading the production of written marketing and communications content, such as press releases, articles, and newsletters.
- Managing, directing, and mentoring Marketing and Communications Department staff.
- Liaising and negotiating with suppliers of marketing materials to ensure cost-effective and timely delivery of high-quality materials.
- Keeping track of performance metrics for communications and marketing strategies and reporting to senior management.
Qualifications
- Strong leadership skills coupled with the ability to thrive under pressure.
- Willing to develop and lead others.
- A successful track record in senior marketing and/or communications roles.
- Comfortable working with essential digital communications tools and technologies.
- Experience in writing and producing corporate communications contents.
- Experience with print marketing and social media communications.
- A creative approach to marketing.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong diplomacy and negotiation skills.
