Qualifications And Requirements
- University degree in Supply Chain, Warehousing or Logistics Management and at least 5 years' experience in a materials management or service operations position.
- Able to fluently speak and write in the English and Portuguese language
- Strong excels skills. Experiencing to build spreadsheets in Excel including creation of pivot tables, complex formulas.
- Strong analytical skills, experiencing in processing of materials replenishment 1-3 years: safety stock control, reorder point and target inventory calculations.
- Strong leadership skills, experiencing with having people under direct report within 1-3 years
- Experience of working with Oracle system
- Prior experience in Railway Industry or in manufacturing environment is strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to reprioritize workload under short deadlines - clear thinker
- Must also be able to demonstrate strong influencing skills.
- Presentation skills, develop and deliver presentations to small and large groups
Responsibilities
- Responsible for all aspects of warehousing and material management including replenishment, transactional quality, inventory accuracy, productivity and freight forwarding.
- Ensure operational excellence through all phases of material movement and storage.
- Responsible for inventory targets and operational targets including month-end and quarter close processes for inventory.
- Responsible to manage materials fulfillment metrics including timely hardware "roll dates", kit quality and locomotive hold for material time.
- Responsible to meet customer schedules effectively though advanced planning and create ability to expedite shipments as required to meet deadlines.
- Responsible to work with customers externally and internally to identify new opportunities to improve our current processes as well as design and implement progressive management processes and systems based on LEAN and Six Sigma for control and replenishment of materials.
- Responsible to meet government EHS regulation requirements
- Must maintain the highest level of integrity and ethics in all dealing with internal customers and external suppliers
