Short Description/ Purpose of Job
The Well Services Engineers will be responsible for providing on-going operational support to Temane Operations as defined on a day to day basis by the Well Services Supervisors at CPF (Central Processing Facility).

Recruitment Description/ Key Accountabilities
- Assist the Well Services Supervisors and Well Services Engineer with any daily Well Services business that will further expand their knowledge and understanding of the Well Services operations.
- Visit well sites with SASOL Well Service Operators and assist in onsite operations to increase their operational awareness.
- Assist with Well Integrity testing functions on site, working with SASOLs well head service provider.
- Update daily well log reports and send out daily e-mail to distribution lists.
- Uploading documentation and reporting into the Safe Wells System and generally maintaining the Safe Wells system.
- Create or update well schematic drawings and upload these to Safe Wells and distribute to other Well Service team members as necessary.
- Assist with creation and preparation of well handover documentation, permit to work system documents and other safe working practices.
- Assist the Senior Well Services Engineer and the Well Services Supervisor in the creation of applicable procedures for all relevant well services activities, involving SASOL and Contractor operations, including review of existing procedures and programs for specific operations to ensure correctness and availability of tools and personnel.
- Assist with Well Services program writing and understanding the operational requirements, both practical and of a safety nature, eventually taking over the responsibility of generating programs based on the ongoing work scope and schedules.
- Supporting the Senior Well Integrity Engineer in acquiring well data and conduct well history researches.
- Managing and supervising the filing of all Well Integrity Reports
- Support all Well Integrity initiatives and follow up on results
- Willing to prepare and hold technical SPE presentations for the SPE community in Mozambique
Formal Education
Minimum BSc. Degree in Mechanical, Petroleum Engineering or other related engineering discipline.
Fluency in English and Portuguese, both oral & written, with good presentation & report writing skills.
Min Experience
Minimum of 3 years of experience in relevant filed
Accompany and assist the Well Services Supervisor and/or the SHE Supervisor on weekly SHE inspections of the Well Services areas.
Experienced with working as a team together with other upstream oil & gas disciplines such as production, exploration, petroleum engineering and reservoir engineering.
A valid passport (with at least 6 months remaining validity and at least 2 clear pages remaining).
Willingness to make international business trips and the ability to work overseas for short durations.
This position will be initially based at the CPF in Temane with the potential to be promoted into higher engineering positions to support the Well Services Team in Maputo
