Short Description/ Purpose of Job
To support the Skills Transfer Team in the effective delivery of the overall Skills Transfer Plan. The position will assist in identifying development needs, design, create and deliver solutions across the organisation at every level. Will also be responsible in assisting the Skills Transfer Team in setting clear points of evaluation to demonstrate the degree of success achieved for all Skills Transfer interventions. The position will coordinate day-to-day Skills Transfer activities to ensure full implementation of the Skills Transfer Plan within MERIC and PSA.
Recruitment Description/ Key Accountabilities
Identify potential development roles for Skills Transfer within MERIC and PSA
Ensure the mobilization and onboarding of all people mapped for skills transfer within MERIC and PSA.
Ensuring that every Skills Transfer intervention has clear business focused aims that enable robust evaluation of the event’s effectiveness, and measurement of return on investment.
Assist in designing and monitor succession plans within the departmental structure.
Support the development of a structured fit for purpose Skills Transfer Plan aligned to Sasol's 70:20:10 principles together with the employee, subject matter expert and/or line manager.
Assist to create, design and deliver Skills Transfer solutions to support the organisational change and development outlined in the overall Sasol 2.0 strategy using a 70:20:10 methodology.
Answering Skills Transfer related queries and provide high quality customer service across the organisation.
Execute and implement activities of record keeping, archiving and reporting required to properly document the activities conducted by Skills Transfer Team.
Documents control and maintain all Skills Transfer documents and framework up to date
Record, Collate and Capture all Skills Transfer Activities and other Learning interventions on the RH systems/tools
External service provider, training coordination support and general administrative duties.
Engagement with relevant stakeholder to ensure that people mapped for skills transfer have their Development Plan, Mentor, and activity sets prior to the start of the program.
Work with the Skills Transfer Practitioner to ensure that the Skills Transfer Plans are tracked, and progress reports are developed during and after the end of each programmes.
Get certified to conduct some training in support of the Skills Transfer Practitioner
Work closely with the Projects Personnel, provide support and ensure accuracy of information shared for reporting purposes
Engagement with the relevant external bodies as required such as INP, ENH, IFPELAC/ITC and Project Contractors.
Execute online/presential course scheduling activities, ensure accuracy of bookings and schedules as well as participant attendance. This include the support of International Certification for the trainees appointed for this purpose.
Support the evaluation of all Skills Transfer interventions at between one and three months following the event, and report against agreed KPIs
Support the team with proper management of facilities and equipment management.
Implement actions required for a quality filing system, both manual and electronic, and quality of reports according to legislative, statutory and Sasol requirements.
Prepare standard HR reports and statistics which need to be analysed and provided to the relevant parties.
Consider the costs of planned programmes and keep within budgets
Plan and assess the 'return on investment' of any training or development programme.
Monitor budgets and monthly expenditure reports
Conduct and execute all activities according to legislative requirements and Sasol requirements
General

Formal Education & Min Experience
High School Diploma/National Diploma or similar with 5-6 years’ experience in HR or related field OR Business/HR Degree with 2-3 years’ experience in applicable field; Mechanical, Electrical, Production, Industrial, et.c.
Having a Technical trade qualification (NQF 5), would be a distinct advantage
