Short Description/ Purpose of Job

Provide support to the assigned business unit in the coordination and execution of activities related to the implementation of Reward and Wellbeing processes and practices. Ensure that the required activities are executed timeously and in a customer centric manner to enable the business unit to execute on the Reward and Wellbeing initiatives and policies.

Gain a solid understanding of the Reward and Wellbeing policies and procedures as well as the key priorities in this area, to implement and execute on assigned accountabilities in a way that enables the accomplishment of the overall Reward and Wellbeing objectives.

Support the Reward Manager in the coordination of a number of activities, operational matters and engagements required to achieve the unit's goals.

Recruitment Description/ Key Accountabilities

Responsible for providing operational and administrative services in order to ensure effective and efficient operations within the Reward and Wellbeing function.

Operate within standardised guidelines from management regarding what is required and how it needs to be done. Constantly interacts with people in dealing with day-to-day efficiency of Reward and Wellbeing service delivery.

Duties performed may include preparation of documents and reports, the use of office technology, compiling records, organising and maintaining files and distribution of information.

Requesting and organizing information and papers to ensure preparation of eternal candidates salary proposals.

Attending and minute wellbeing and medical aid monthly committees meetings

Coordinate the implementation and execution of Wellbeing initiatives with the designated providers.

Provide support for administration of Mozambique specific complementary retirement funds and medical Aid.

Develop and maintain an effective relationships with payroll, accounts payable, and learning specialist  to ensure that accurate monthly reconciliations are undertaken


Deliver work on time and within required standards. Deal with immediate and relatively short-term issues with procedural routine thinking challenges.

Use a variety of technology platforms, such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Advanced Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc. to produce correspondence, documents and maintain presentations, records, spreadsheets, databases and data analyse.

Devises and maintains an effective electronic-based filing system when required.

Coordinates calendar for Reward & Wellbeing team, i.e. communication, meetings with providers, meetings with stakeholders, presentations, provision of reports, etc.

Follow up on employee query resolution and close queries.

Management of databases and collation of employee data in support of Reward and Wellbeing initiatives.

Extract of basic reports to support processes within the environment and upload information into databases.

Update policies and other records on an ongoing basis ensuring that the information is correctly reflected on records and other databases.

Conduct data gathering and data analysis exercises for purposes of external research, internal information collation and draft reports on findings in support of a broader policy / process design.

Provide effective office based administrative support to the team across a variety of operational tasks required for effective team functioning.


Formal Education

High School / School Diploma or similar

Usually used during smaller non capital projects.

Self-Mastery: Takes accountability for driving own growth through developing self-awareness, reflecting, seeking  feedback and self-correcting
