Cash/ Liquidity Management
Job Description
- Monitor the day to day provision of liquidity in the appropriate currency (daily cash management);
- Monitor the nostro accounts to ensure that they are sufficiently funded;
- Complete the daily Liquidity Pack and submit for approval;
- Develop contacts with the other banks and the central bank;
- Develop close contacts with other departments within Barclays and ABSA as part of effective.
- Develop and manage a thorough database of market data;
- Maintain Management Information required by Treasury and other relevant stakeholders with regards to money market (Liquidity Pack);
- Assist in managing and reporting FTP rates under supervision of the Head of TES;
- Assist in reporting the bank’s Liquidity Ratio to the Central Bank.
- Adhere to all the policies and procedures of the bank.
- Managing interest rate exposure in line with market sentiment and optimize revenue
- Complying with statutory reserves
- Ensuring that all MM deals are dealt within limits ( Group Market risk, counterparty limits, dealer’s mandate)
