Coca – Cola Beverages Africa has an exciting vacancy of Distribution Manager at one of our Mozambique Bottlers – Matola Plant, leading producer of various flavors in Mozambique for the last 30 years. This is a manager position that reports directly to the Regional Logistics Manager. The incumbent will be responsible to manage the distribution team and department. To lead, develop, advise, and support the successful implementation of the Distribution strategy. To support the implementation of the business plans to deliver the strategic priorities of long-term growth opportunities by leveraging scale and building fundamental processes, systems, and people capabilities. This position requires engagement and partnership with stakeholders including customers, functional heads, and executive leadership. As such, this position must be able to effectively engage, negotiate, influence, and communicate to meet the business needs.

 

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop an effective Distribution strategy and business plan based on diagnosis, analysis, insight, expertise and distribution principles.
  • Develop plans to optimise the operation by aligning resources to activity levels and meeting customer service needs to improve the overall distribution performance.

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in logistics industry
  • Minimum of 5 years line management experience
  • Experience in logistics and business software systems
  • Additional experience and/or exposure in sales, warehouse or manufacturing
  • Financial and business modelling experience
  • Understanding of key business cost drivers
  • Knowledge of logistics operations in large FMCG organisations
  • Project management skills and experience

Area Sales Manager


Coca – Cola Beverages Africa has an exciting vacancy of Area Sales Manager at one of our Mozambique Bottlers – Chimoio Plant that is the leading producer of various flavors in Mozambique for the last 26 years. This position reports directly to the Regional Sales Manager. The incumbent will be responsible to deliver volume and revenue growth by effectively managing the Sales & Marketing team, implementation of business plans and delivering Customer Service Excellence.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Lead the sales force and ensure superior sales execution across the region:

  • Ensure profit and performance delivery of the region as per the plans;
  • Ensure P&L ownership and accountability within each area;
  • Monitor & review Sales & Marketing performance, and guide, support & coach sales team to address off-track performance, where required;
  • Develop and embed sales force effectiveness & sales force automation capabilities, with support from CCBA ID Sales team;
  • Roll-out and ensure effective use of customer segmentation & related tool kits;
  • Ensure RED management – systems, tracking, contractor SLA management, and non-conformance management;
  • Manage sales resource planning, merchandising management, REDMART (POS storage, picking & delivery);
  • Cold drink equipment – determine functional requirements, population and location (provided to Supply Chain for execution);

  • Attends frequent trade visits to customer stores with relevant regional personnel;
  • Understand pack margin and pack role per customer in order to optimise revenue growth;
  • Utilise market research and analysis such as Nielsen, loyalty data etc to formulate programmes and feedback to customer;
  • Customer Relationships Supports the front line staff in building strong relationships with each customer by Identifying business growth opportunities – (master of execution and brings a different perspective to identify opportunities sales staff may have missed;
  • Develop, implement and/or manage account specific programmes, promotions and packs as required and evaluation.;
  • Builds personal relationship with customer through various interactions such as charity sports days, customer conference participation, corporate golf days, host at local and international conferences and sporting occasions;
  • Sales and Marketing share growth;
  • Manages and measures sales targets daily and takes corrective action;
  • Allocates execution resources (e.g. POS / coolers / promotional material etc.) for maximum return

Operador de Armazém


A Coca Cola Beverages Africa -Mocambique, lider na producao de bebidas com mais de 30 anos no mercado, tem duas vagas em para Operador de Armazem, na Fabrica da Matola Gare e nesta posicao reporta ao supervisor do armazem, e o candidato sera responsavel, pelo carregamento e descarregamento de produtos no armazem, e pela contagem fisica do produto no armazem de produto acabado, garantindo o FIFO.

 

Key Duties & Responsibilities

1. Movimento de entrada e saída:

  • Escolher, preparar, proteger (embrulhar) e carregar com precisão o produto para fins de movimento de saída dentro do prazo,
  • Contar, receber e descarregar produtos com precisão para fins de movimentação de entrada, garantindo ao mesmo tempo um tempo de entrega ideal no local.

2. Contagens diárias de estoque:

  • Realizar contagens diárias de estoque de maneira precisa e rápida.

3. Limpeza:

  • Cumprir os padrões de limpeza e ao mesmo tempo aderir às diretrizes de layout do armazém, garantindo que o produto correto seja empilhado nas caixas corretas.

4. Reabastecimento:

  • Executar o reabastecimento dentro do prazo das diversas áreas de separação de caixas a granel / linhas de produção / recebimentos de entrada

5. Ativos da empresa:

  • Operar ativos da empresa, como empilhadeiras e porta-paletes, de maneira segura.
  • Cuidar dos ativos da empresa, mantendo-os em ótimas condições de acordo com a política e especificações da empresa.
  • Realize inspeções pré-viagem e relate avarias imediatamente.

6. Qualidade do produto:

  • Garantir a alta qualidade do produto executando uma função de retrabalho eficaz e aderindo às diretrizes da empresa em termos de rotação de estoque e aos princípios First Expiry, First Out.
  • Manuseie o produto de uma maneira que não afete a qualidade do produto.

7. Trabalho em equipe:

  • Trabalhar de forma eficaz dentro de uma equipe e participar de reuniões como e quando necessário
  • Realizar transferências de turnos para outros Operadores de uma maneira que conduza ao trabalho contínuo, sem interrupções devido a mudanças de turno

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Estoque Controlado
  • Garantir que todo o estoque possa ser contabilizado
  • Capturar movimentação de estoque no sistema
  • Recomendar o layout ideal do armazém
  • Prepara o sistema para contagem cíclica

Skills, Experience & Education

  • 3 anos de experiência em gestão de estoque
  • Experiência em sistema MSD ou similar (ERP) é uma vantagem
