Support the development the IT OPS CS domain

  • Supervise, coordinate, and support a team of CS proximity support contracted personnel and service providers assigned to project site
  • Access and manage hardware availability and compliance to cope with project growth needs and changes
  • Define and validate action plans to Support the onboarding and offboarding processes with asset allocation for both local and international users

IT OPS CS Domain:

  • Ensure a high quality, cost effective, client-driven Service Desk in partnership with the outsourcing contractors is provided
  • Maintain hardware asset inventory of all IT ensuring also that allocations and harvesting processes are followed with company policies
  • Provide management with timely and accurate status reports and KPIs. Keep all sites informed of upcoming activities and changes and the customer base informed of changes and issues with the IT environment.
  • Documentation and knowledge transfer, such as maintaining and providing solution documentation to other team members, IT and business areas, detailing hardware installations, logically storing project files, and cross training
  • Ensure the follow-up of the customer incidents and escalations
  • Ensure the follow up of the maintenance services being provided

IT OPS CS daily activities:

  • Work on the resolution/troubleshooting of the reported incidents and escalations where required
  • Ensure the availability of all CS related services such as nut not limited to printing services and video conferencing services
  • Ensure stock availability to cope with new requirements and project changes
  • Ensure hardware allocation lists are kept updated with the constant changes and that CMDB is kept updated and within company policies
  • Provide Support to the infrastructure, telecom, and business team as required
  • Monitor the Server and Backup environments in relation but not limited to: Backups/Shared folder management/hardware faults and improvements
  • Ensure the permanent operations of the services and hardware related to the IT OPS CS domain

Context and environment

Work on the growth and support of the IT OPS CS domain on the TEPMA1 project for the construction of the $20 Billion LNG Facility

  • About five hundred users and a growth projection to more than 1500 users in five sites (Mozambique) and the GPI offices
  • Interfaces with Service and Equipment Providers, IS Peers, Construction managers, Drilling Managers, Department Managers, Support Services Teams
  • Budget: $250.000 on hardware and maintenance services
  • Coordinate and supervise a team of proximity support contractors and Service providers assigned to project

Tepma1 is a $20 Billion project and a major player in the Mozambique Energy employing circa +1000 people with five sites (Mozambique) and the GPI offices operated and supported with multiple business entities. In this challenging context (Security, remote) the Snr. IT OPS must ensure consistency & operability of the IT OPS CS domain related services.

Candidate profile

  • Degree in Information Systems or any other technology related fields or proven experience with at least 6 years in Information Technology fields
  • Proven knowledge & Experience in IT Customer support with experience in business analyses and troubleshooting IT related issues and proven experience supporting an LNG organization
  • Proven experience on the management of relations with both local and international service providers and vendors
  • Ability to communicate in both Portuguese and English and to be easy with presentations and training groups
