This role is for general accounting including preparing journal entries, maintaining balance sheet schedules, ledgers, account and bank reconciliations. Assisting with monthly closings and account analysis and supporting the Finance Manager in carrying out the responsibilities of the Finance department.


• Processing, Payment and Submission of all statutory taxes and duties in time e.g., VAT, INSS,

PAYE (IRPS), Corporate Income Tax (IRPC) and any other W/Holding Tax.

• Preparing invoices and timely dispatch to Client.

• Ensuring all invoices raised to customers are supported by proper documentation (Contracts,

PO or SO).

• Preparation of all Payment Vouchers (including processing of Projects Cash to Field teams).

• Ensure that all supplier invoices received are supported by proper documentations and that

invoices being received are accepted by local law.

• Ensure the upkeep of Physical Contracts/Pos for Contracts with Suppliers and Clients. (fixed

assets invoices, regional approvals and accompany the auditors work during external audit

field work.

• Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements, accounts receivable accounts payable

(cash flow management).

• Update FM on news or legislation that may affect/impact the company or its employees.

• Review Accountabilities and ensure that these ties up with Reconciliations sent by Operations

• Ensure the business adheres to all legislative requirements.

• Process monthly wages payments.

• Perform Banks and M-pesa reconciliations.

• Manage all supplier accounts administration (invoice posting, loading and payments monthly,

quarterly, and annual).



• Advanced diploma/University Degree in Accounting


• Minimum 4/5 years’ experience in management accounting.

Experience using Symphony (Oracle)

• Fluent written and spoken English and strong communication and influencing skills with proven ability to effectively communicate insights to all levels of the business in a practical, user friendly and meaningful way.
