·        Assisting in managing the IT infrastructure resources, including drafting and executing its budget, developing its organizational structure;

·        Assisting in optimizing costs of organization-wide infrastructure and application services through an appropriate mix of internal and external resources;

·        Assisting in leading the design, specification, configuration, installation, and maintenance of local area network hardware, software, and telecommunications services and Internet service providers;

·        Facilitate communication between management, staff and customers to ensure an effective approach to implementation of IT solutions;

·        Assisting in researching and making recommendations on hardware and software purchases and negotiating with vendors to ensure cost-effective purchasing decisions;

·        Assisting in implementing an enterprise-wide information security plan that protects the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the company’s data and servers;

·        Assisting in implementing processes to identify and mitigate information risks within the organization;

·        Monitor system health/availability;

·        Providing technical support (help desk) to users by troubleshooting problems related to network or platform performance

·        Assisting in developing, implementing and directing the organization’s information technology security program, consistent with policies that support business objectives and requirements;

·        Effectively communicate IT vision and plans in understandable terms throughout the organization;

·        Ensure and monitor security compliance as it relates to any changes in legislation;

·        Assisting in establishing, maintaining and regularly testing a disaster recovery plan;

·        Promote the use of innovative technologies that will provide benefits to the organization;

·        Overseeing and determining time-frames for major IT projects including system updates, upgrades, migrations and outages;

·        Assisting in providing day-to-day operational support for server, storage, and network infrastructures;

·        Troubleshooting / diagnosing IT problems, and implementing corrective action procedures within prescribed guidelines and/or escalating to other technical resources as appropriate;

·        Minimum 5 years of experience, preferably related to Retail Industry;

·        English proficiency is a must.
