KOICA currently has 44 country offices worldwide, including an office in Mozambique established in March 2011.
Description
KOICA Mozambique is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the position of project consultant. The consultant is expected to support the activities related to the project “Enhancing Capacity of the Matola Industrial and Commercial Institute for Providing Quality Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) in Mozambique”, including procurement and construction management.
Duties
- Compose and submit reports on request by the employer;
- Compose and submit weekly and monthly reports;
- Reporting to the employer of all project progress;
- Responsible for carrying out, monitoring and reporting upon any business meeting with relevant stakeholders;
- Project and Contract Management.
Requirements
Qualifications and skills
- Bachelor’s degree in construction or related field and a minimum of 5 years of work experience or Master’s degree or above with a minimum of 3 years of work experience;
- Relevant experience in construction and procurement management;
- Relevant experience in project management will be an asset;
- Proficiency in English and Portuguese;
- Good computer skills (Proficient in Microsoft Office package and other applications of wide usage, AutoCad);
- Impeccable level of integrity and confidentiality.
